According to the EPA, poor indoor air quality (IAQ) is among the top five environmental risks. Most people are aware that outdoor air pollution can damage their health, but most are unaware that indoor air pollution can also have significant health effects. EPA studies of human exposure to air pollutants indicate that indoor levels of pollutants may be 2-5 times, and occasionally more than 100 times, higher than outdoor levels. These levels of indoor air pollutants may be of particular concern because most people spend 90% of their time indoors, making indoor air quality testing important. We can inspect buildings and HVAC systems for evidence of mold or bacteria that may be adversely affecting building occupants. Our services include air quality testing for mold and bacteria, including mycotoxins and endotoxins, thorough building inspections including air handlers, filters, ductwork, crawl spaces, attics, rooftops, air intakes, and exhausts.
